I made 2 different kind of wraps and 3 different kind of sammies.
Sammies: Tomato pate with herbal cheese & cucumber, Tomato pate with cheese & rocket lettuce and Tomato pate with cheese & cucumber.
Wraps: Herbal cheese, salmon & rocket lettuce and chicken, herbal cheese & rocket salad.
I loved how I could make a few different combinations with what I had at hand. All though you can pack this in a bento, only make the wraps with salmon or chicken if you can store your bento in the fridge till lunchtime.

Nothing "poor" about your delicious lunch :) Makes me feel hungry again! There's nothing quite like homemade lunch, isn't there?
ReplyDeleteI agree -- nothing poor at all. Love that variety and they would look nice in a bento.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great. I especially would love the wraps with salmon. I think I'll make some wraps for lunch next week, as my sons are off and they LOVE wraps!
ReplyDeleteI love looking at your bento recipes. This one really looks fun and I am going to be doing so research in a library this week, so will need to take my lunch - this is perfect.
ReplyDeleteYou really do make the most interesting and appealing looking foods ever!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nan... this looks so appealing!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the sweet comments :)
ReplyDeletelove those toothpicks...so cute.
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! I cannot find those cute accessories (like the Panda Toothpicks) where I live. Do you recommend any online stores? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have to order them online myself :)
ReplyDeleteI got these from Casabento.com :)
Great ideas!!! and I love the little toothpicks too :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice sammies. What is tomato pate? I'm guessing it is a spread, rather like a tapenade, only using tomato for the base.
ReplyDeleteIt is a tapenade actually, but I didn't know that tapenade was an English word since my spell checker doesn't recognise it and the dictionary translated it as pate. Sorry for the confusion ^^;
