#47 - Inarizushi bento

I was early this morning, making inarizushi. Not my best idea ever. The boyfriend has to work the 12PM to 8PM shift so he needs a big bento today. If he has to work early I mostly make his bento the night before, however I thought that 12PM was doable. Making inarizushi isn't hard but it is a delicate job with opening the tofu envelopes without tearing them and that is clearly harder in the morning when I don't have much control over my body yet. Because of this, it took me much longer then I anticipated.

Today's bento contains a potato vegetable mix with broccoli, mushrooms & courgette. In the other tier are four inarizushi & grapes. I use this brand of tofu envelopes which you can buy in various Asian grocery stores.

  3. Looking goooood! I use the same brand of tofu flaps (I don't think you can get another brand in Holland?) and noticed they get harder to handle the older they get. So better not keep them too long!
